Pretty Sad

Okay, so I'm going to try to do better at this...

I am still currently at 149, which is pretty impressive considering my weekend away where I ate everything I wanted and enjoyed several real cokes! And, a little bit of wine too! (Don't tell anyone!!!)
I am still running 2 miles everyday and I love every minute of it! I have trimmed my mile time from 13 minutes to a little over 11. So I am happy with that.

Adam has started doing the Atkins diet, which really works for him and he has lost 5 pounds so far. He is also trying to lose weight especially before Uganda. So, now there is more incentive for me.

In January, I'm going to try to add some arms and abs to my workout so that I will look oh so good in a swim suit in a few months!!!!

Back in the Saddle...

Okay, I'm back in the saddle now...

Today:

Breakfast: Life cereal: 210 calories with the milk

Lunch: Chili: 410 calories with the cheese and sour cream...

So far: 20 ounces of water and 30 minutes of running. (in the rain, I might add, which adds points, I'm sure!)

I have discovered how much further I can run without stopping while listening to my ipod. I'm sure you saw my Twilight exercise routine on facebook...I run hard for the first four songs on the soundtrack and then cool down for the last three songs. It is really working well for me. I have run last Friday, yesterday and today. With the music, I could easily do it everyday!
Trying to get back in the game.

I have gained one of my pounds back, so I am still at 154 right now. While I wasn't exercising, I wasn't going crazy with the food, though I wasn't really watching it either, so I'm pretty relieved I only gained one of my pounds back. Gotta keep going, even with the setbacks.

Didn't have time for breakfast... I know, I know...shame on me...

Lunch: chips and salsa: 350 calories

Dinner: Chili with fritos: 750 calories

Dessert: my other weight watchers ice cream thing: 170 calories

Total for Sunday: 1270 calories

Sundays are so very busy that I normally have to make time to eat. However, I do feel better because everyone else loved the honey bun cake so it is gone! And, for the record, it was slap-your-momma good!

Saturday, October 17, 2009

This was my worst day as far as food intake:

Breakfast: waffles with butter and sugar: 320 calories

Lunch: Subway sandwich: 340 calories (they put the calories on the napkins at Subway!)

Chips: 200 calories

Lunch total: 540 calories

Dinner: Korean BBQ, brown rice, green beans and a little serving of honey bun cake:

Not really sure, but at least 800 calories...

Total: 1660 calories - too many, but it all tasted so good!

The Weight Watchers program is really based on calorie intake and portion control, so almost everything they put out there is low calorie and tastes delicious!

Thursday, October 15, 2009

Sugar 30 calories

Total = 220 calories

Lunch: Burger King Chicken Sandwich (don't give me a hard time) 630 calories

Dinner was at 5:00, so after volleyball we picked up Little Caesars. I ate one slice of pepperoni:

210 calories (I was very excited about this!)

Total for today = 1480 calories

I did finally look up my range and my healthy range is 1200-1500 to lose weight.
Edited to add that I consumed 65 ounces of water and did my 3o minute run as well as the volleyball playing tonight.

Day Two, October 14, 2009

Breakfast: 2 waffles, 210 calories
1 tbsp butter, 50 calories
2 tsp sugar, 30 calories

Total breakfast = 290 calories

Lunch: Candy bar, 240 calories
Popcorn, 75 calories

Total lunch = 315 (Not the most nutritious, but we were at the movies)

Snacks: 10 Cheetos, 80 calories
2 cups dry Apple Jacks, 220 calories

Total before dinner = 805 calories

40 ounces of water consumed and one diet drink
30 minutes of running exercise

Today was a little harder than yesterday since we went to the movies. But, if you need a candy bar, your best bet is still a 3 Musketeers. There are 60 calories in each snack sized bar and I ate four of them at the movie.
